Objective To compare the advantages and disadvantages of the national standard method (biochemical reagent identification method and automatic bacterial identification method) and real-time fluorescent PCR method in the Salmonella test in the ability verification project of chocolate. Methods The different detection principles of the two methods were analyzed to compare the advantages and disadvantages of biochemical reagent identification method, BD Phoenix-100 automatic bacterial identification method and real-time fluorescence PCR method in the application of bacterial identification. Results Totally 3 proficiency test samples were detected for 1 positive and 2 negative, and the results of the two test methods were consistent. Satisfactory results were obtained in all three sample tests. Conclusion The combination of national standard methods and instrumental detection methods helps to improve the accuracy of the results. Participating in proficiency testing helps improve laboratory testing capabilities.
