Objective In order to develop the system of the standards on residues of veterinary drugs in fishery products. Methods Standards between China and the main export countries were compared and analyzed. Results The differences between the systems of standards were clarified. Conclusion Suggestions and measures for strengthening basic research on veterinary drugs in fishery products, normalizing the definition of restricted drugs and further clarifying regulations for limit standards were proposed.
