Abstract：Yan'anwoodcutprintmakingisthetreasureofChineseart.ItplayedtheroleofpublicityandeducationduringtherevolutionaryperiodinChina,andthusitisanimportantcarrieroftheredculture.ThispapercombinesYan'anwoodcutprintmakingwith2Danimationdesignanddiscussesindetailtheprocessoftheanimationmaking.Inthepractice,thelifestoryofrevolutionarymartyrLiuZhidanistakenasthestoryscript,andistransformedintoananimationfilminthestyleofYan'anwoodcutprintmaking.ThedesignpracticeisaimedatexploringtheinnovativepathofYan'anwoodcutprintmaking,hopingtomaintainitstraditionalcharmwhileadaptingittocontemporaryaesthetictastesandneeds,sothatboththeartformandredculturecanobtainamorepermanentdevelopment.
