ABSTRACT: Objective To analyze the characteristics and trends of information on unqualified beverage failed for microbial index issued by the government in China from 2008-2017 in China. Methods Through the collection and sorting of beverage microbiological related unqualified information published on the websites of food safety supervision departments of various provinces and cities in China, the microbial risk of beverages in China in the past 10 years was analyzed. Results China's national and provincial food safety regulatory authorities had cumulatively exposed 4,630 pieces of unqualified data on microbial indicators in beverages in 2008.1.1-2017.12.31. The packaged drinking water accounted for 90.78% (4203/4630), while the main microbial problem of packaging drinking water was Pseudomonas aeruginosa, accounting for 45.04% (1893/4203). Conclusion The microbial indexes monitoring in beverages should focus on Pseudomonas aeruginosa in packaged drinking water and new scientific technologies need to be introduced as effective support.
