Ensuring the quality and safety of food is not only related to the health and well-being of mankind, but also contributed to international and domestic food consumption. Food safety supervision was considered as the object, this paper summarized the status of edible fungus export industry in Yunnan province, and analyzed the total production and value, exported volume and value of Yunnan’s edible fungus from 2012 to 2016 and the reasons behind the trend. Through the empirical research on the safety supervision mode of edible fungus and enterprise status in Yunnan province, the problems existed in the supervision and in the industry were found. This paper proposed some specific regulatory suggestions according to Yunnan current situation, so as to provide reference for the development of edible fungus industry in Yunnan province.
