The current status of sanitary standards on acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), acrylonitrile-styrene (AS) plastic food contact materials in the EU, USA, Japan, Korea and China were reviewed. The differences of regulations on sanitary requirements between different countries were analyzed and proposed amendments of sanitary standards on ABS and AS plastic molding products in China were given.
