Objective The uncertainty of the detection results of calcium using atomic absorption spectrometry has been evaluated, which ensure the detection results accurate and reliable. Methods According to general rule of evaluation of the measurement uncertainty, mathematical model was established and the mea-surement uncertainty for the determination of calcium using atomic absorption spectrometry was analysed. Finally, combined standard uncertainty of detection results was calculated. Results The content of calcium was 8806.92 ? 780.30 mg/kg. Conclusion Relative standard uncertainty caused by repeatability, digestion recoveries and dilution were the main factors for the determination of calcium using atomic absorption spectrometry.
