Objective To establish a method for the detection of deltamethrin and acetamiprid pesticides based on Raman spectroscopy. Methods Different concentrations of deltamethrin and acetamiprid pesticides were filled with aluminum case and Raman spectra were acquired. The data preprocessing procedures were ap-plied on original Raman spectra to filter the spectral noise and remove the fluorescence background to provide a rapid and nondestructive method for pesticide detection. Results The pesticides of deltamethrin and acetamiprid have rich characteristic frequencies. The Raman spectra under 574 cm?1 and 736 cm?1 can be used to identify deltamethrin with the minimum detectable value of 2500 mg/kg. The Raman spectra under 752 cm?1 and 840 cm?1 can be used to identify acetamiprid, and also the best solvent of 1:5 acetone: water (v: v) was testified for acetamiprid detection which will build a foundation for the determination of the minimum detectable value of acetamiprid in the future. Conclusion It has a great importance for rapid and nondestructive detection of deltamethrin and acetamiprid pesticides on fruits’ surface in the future.
