Abstract:As the scale of Qinghai power grid continues to increase, the short-circuit current exceeding the standard has become a major problem facing the safe operation of power systems. This paper analyzes the development trend of short-circuit current in Xining area of Qinghai, the reason that the short-circuit current of 750 kV bus exceeds the standard in eastern Qinghai, and uses the branch impedance addition method to calculate the node impedance parameters and bus short-circuit current after installing the series reactor. On this basis, the measures to limit the short-circuit current in the eastern part of Qinghai are put forward, and the research results can provide reference for the limited short-circuit current of Qinghai Power grid.
