Abstract:The voltage stability index was merely established from the perspective of active power or reactive power, and it might generate different results. In order to solve the problem, this paper proposes an integrated voltage stability index to analyze the static voltage stability of the grid with large scale wind farm and photovoltaic plant connection. On one hand, it obtains the active sensitivity index IP of node voltage through power-voltage curve to study the impact of the active power change of wind-photovoltaic generation of the grid with wind farm and photovoltaic plant connection on the voltage stability of system. On the other hand, the node voltage reactive sensitivity index IQ of the grid with wind farm and photovoltaic plant connection is used in evaluating voltage stability of power system. On this basis, the integrated voltage stability index I is proposed by the integration of the above two indices based on ideal point method. We use the evaluation indexes IP, IQ and I to analyze the static voltage stability of the actual power grid in Shanxi province, which can identify the weak buses and areas of Shanxi grid. The comparison and analysis of the weak area of power grid under these three indexes verifies the comprehensiveness of the comprehensive evaluation index.
