Abstract：Pursuinglong-termsustainabledevelopmentforresource-basedenterprisesisamajortheoreticalandpracticalissue.DaqingOilfieldkeepsinmindthesignificantmissionof"beingamodelbannerandconstructacen-tennialoilfield"trustedbyXiJinping,GeneralSecretaryoftheCommunistPartyofChinaCentralCommittee,andguidedbyXiJinpingThoughtonSocialismwithChineseCharacteristicsforaNewEra,comprehensivelygraspsthemacrosituation,industrytrendsandenterpriselaws,rationallythinkshistory,presentandfuture,andmakesastrategicdeploymenttoinitiatethegrowthof"thesecondcurve".Thispapersystematicallyexpoundsthescientific,holisticandpracticalaspectsofstartingthegrowthof"thesecondcurve"fromtheperspectivesofstrategicback-ground,strategicmission,strategicdeployment,strategicsupportandstrategicachievements.
