TheedgefilterapproachisapplicabletointerrogatingminefiberBragggrating(FBG)micro-seismicsensors.ThispaperpresentsthedesignandimplementationofaprecisionedgefilterinterrogationsystemusingdigitalsignalprocessingDSP).Thetechnicaldetailsincludingautomaticgaintrans-impedanceamplifier,low-noisedrivecircuit,andworkingpointcontrolunitareintroduced.Theresultsshowthatthesystemachievesalow-limitfrequencyof0.5Hzandaworking-pointcontrolaccuracyof0.1%.Thepeakpowerconsumptionreducesto~3Wwhilethechanneldensityisdoubled.Anditisexpectedtobeusedinundergroundfiberopticmicro-seismicstation.
