Forpracticalapplication,over-speedbehaviorofavehicleisgenerallydetectedbythecombinationoftheradarspeedometerandthecameracapture.Littleinformation,justasingleimageofthevehicleandthevelocityisrecordedastheevidence.Ifothervehiclesareinthesightofthecamera,thismethodcannotidentifywhichonethemeasuredvelocitybelongsto.Thevelocityiseveninaccurateduetotheinfluence.Focusingonthisproblem,weintroduceadetectionandtrackingsystemofvehiclesbasedonthecombinationofthevideoand2Dradarinformation.Multiplevehiclesinthesightofthecameraaredetectedandtracked,whoseradarinformationiscalibratedandembeddedintotheimagecoordinatesystem.Thetrajectoryandvelocityofeachvehicleisrecorded,andtheover-speedjudgmentofmulti-targetcanbesolved.Thesystemisevaluatedintheexperimentsandthepracticalapplication.Theresultsshowthattheproposedfusionalgorithmofthevideoandradarinformationhasagoodperformanceonthedetection,trackingandvelocitymeasurementofvehicles.
