AscaledvehiclemodelisdesignedaccordingtotheBuckingham'sπtheorem.Equippedwiththesimpleactivedifferen-tialandactivetransfercase,thescaledvehiclecandistributetorquebetweenfourwheels.Theelectriccontrolunit(ECU)isestab-lishedwithsomemicrocontrollerstocapturesomeofthescaledall-wheel-drivevehicledynamicsphysically.Three-axisaccelerationsen-sor,gyroscopeandencoderareequippedonthescaledvehicletocollectvehiclemotionstatesignals.Aimingtoimprovethehandlingandstabilityperformanceofall-wheel-drive(AWD)vehicles,anoveltorquevectoringsystem(TV)isproposedbydistributingenginetorquetothefrontandrearaxleaswellastransmittingthetorquebetweenthetworearwheels.Bothsimulationandexperimentalresultsdemonstratethevalidityofthistorquebiasingsystem.
