ThispaperanalyzesthereasonofLow-speedvibrationinanelectricvehicle,buildsthemathematicalequationofpowertraintorsionalvibration.Then,themodeloftorquerippleconsideringnon-sinusoidalmagneticfielddistributionisbuilt,ordersandfrequenciesoftorquerippleinPMSMispredicted.Accordingtotherelationshipbetweenthetorsionalvibrationinlow-speedoftheelectricvehicleandthefrequencyofmotortorqueripple,forthesituationthattherearefewliteraturesonthetorquerippleanalyzeandtestmethodofPMSMinelectricvehicles,adynamictorquerippletestbenchispresented.Thetorqueripplefrequencyanalysisisverifiedbytesting.Becausethereareamplitudeandphasedistortioncausedbythedynamictest,wepresentedanewlocked-rotorstaticmethod.insteadofthedynamictest.ItprovidesanaccuratemeansoftestingandevaluationforthetorquerippleofPMSMinelectricvehiclespreliminarily.
