AsoneofthemostessentialelementsofDualClutchTransmissionvehicle,thewetclutchplaysacrucialroleduringthevehicleoperatingprocesses.Inthisinvestigation,concerningthethermalproblemoffrictionalpairs,aco-simulationmodel,includingthepowertraindynamicmodelandlumpedheattransfermodel,isestablishedtostudythedynamicresponseofvehicleandpredictthetemperaturevariationsduringtheDCTcrawlingprocess.Fromtheobtainedsimulationresults,thedesiredvehiclespeed(2km/h)canbetrackedandachievedsuccessfully,withacceptablejerklevel(6.1m/s3).And,duringthecrawlingprocess,bothclutchesareinvolvedandtheslippingdurationforclutchCLandclutchCHinonecycleis5sand2.8srespectively.Consequently,withwell-ar-rangedslippingtime,twoclutchesobtainasametemperaturerise,whichis8.8℃.Fromthesimulationresults,thetemperatureofclutchesreachesthecriticalvalue(250℃)aftercrawlingfor221.6s.
