Thispaperisaimingtoestimatethemutualinfluencesofthestackcoolingperformancewiththeoperationmodesofthethermalmanagementsystemforthehydrogenfuelcellvehicles.Theheatcapacityofthethermalmanagementsystemwasmeasuredbyvaryingtheoperatingmodessuchasstackcoolingheatexchangeronly(Mode1),stackcoolingandelectricdevicescoolingheatexchangers(Mode2),andstackcoolingandelectricdevicescoolingheatexchangerswithanoperationofthecondenser(Mode3).Astheresults,performanceofthethermalmanagementsystem(TMS)atMode3decreasedupto34.0%,comparedwiththeresultoftheMode1.Whencomparedbetweenrealroadtestandlaboratorytestusingcoolingmoduletesterwithrespecttoheatdissipationrateoftheradiator,errorratiobasedonrealroadtestdatawas1.83%at70km/hrofdrivingspeedand3.58%at100km/hrofit,respectively.Fabricatedcoolingmoduletesterwasthoughttobereasonabletopredictperformancecharacteristicsunderrealroaddrivingconditions.
