Thepanelacousticcontributionanalysis(PACA)methodologyplaysanimportantroleinnoisecontrolofvehicleinside.Takingintoaccountthecontributionofpressurecomponenttothefieldpointsoundpressure,theenergydistributionmodelisintroducedtoimprovetheknownPACAmethodology.ThenanewEA-PACAmethodisproposedbycombiningthemeritsofenergydistributionanalysisandPACAmethodfortheacousticanalysisofvehicle.Basedontheresultsofinteriornoisetest,combinedwithstructuralmodalandacousticmodalanalysis,themechanismoflowfrequencynoisegeneratedisverified.Theacousticfieldinsidethevehicleisanalyzedusingthefiniteelementmethod.ThenacousticcontributionsofvehiclebodypanelstointernalacousticfieldareanalyzedusingtheimprovedPACAmethod.Theresultsoftheactualcartestsshowthatafteraddingthedampingmaterialonthepanelswithlargercontribution,thelow-frequencynoiseofmultiplefieldpointswaseffectivelyreduced.
