Inordertosolvetheproblemsoflittleactuatoroutputforce,lowefficiencyandslowresponsespeed,alinearmotorsus-pensionactuatorwithhighprecision,largeoutputforceandquickresponsewasdesigned.ThefiniteelementanalysesoftheactuatorwerecarriedoutbyusingAnsoft.Andthemagneticfielddistributionwasobtained,atthesametime,therelationcurvesamongtheinputvoltageoftheactuator,themaximumtensilelengthandtheelectromagneticforcewerestudied.Theinfluenceoftheopeningslotcoeffi-cientontheperformanceofactuatorwasinvestigated.Accordingtothefiniteelementmodeloftheactuator,theactuatorprototypeweremade.Further,themechanicalpropertiestestswerecarriedouttoverifythecorrectnessofthemodel.
