IntraditionalV-modellifecycleforcontrolsystemdevelopmentinautomotiveindustry,requirementsarespecifiedindocumentsintheanalysisanddesignphaseandwillnotbeverifieduntiltheyareimplementedinsoftwareandthentestedonabenchoravehicle.Incompletenessandinconsistenceofrequirementsindocumentsaredifficulttobefanndintheearlydesignstageandoftenex-poseinthelateproductionstage,whichleadstohighcostofrework.Thispaperdemonstratesaneffectivemethodofrequirementsmodel-lingandverificationintheearlyanalysisanddesignphaseusingSysMLasmodellinglanguageandRhapsodyasmodellingtool.Anexam-pleofabatterycontactorcontrolsystemwithin48Vhybridelectricvehicleisusedtodemonstratethismethod.Withthismethod,defectsofrequirementsaredetectedandthenrefinedbeforetheimplementationphase.Theexperimentaldatatestedonvehiclesshowsthatthebehavioursofthebatterycontactorcontrolsystemmeettherequirementsdefinedinthedesignphase,whichprovesthatthismethodisef-fective.Theprocessofrequirementsmodellingandverificationisakeypartofmodelbasedsystemengineering(MBSEforshort)whichisregardedasaneffectivemethodologyandsolutiontothedevelopmentofincreasinglycomplexsystems.
