Theaccelerationwaveformoftheexperimentandsimulationhasdifferencesintheenergyabsorbingareaofthecrashbox.Comparingtheaccelerationwaveformintheexperiment,thepeakandpulsewidthinsimulationarehigherandnarrowerrespective-ly.Theaccuracyofsimulatedresultsisreducedlargely.AccordingtodifferencesinaccelerationwaveformofChanganvehiclefrontalim-pact,crashboxistakenastheresearchobjecttoestablishthesledFEAmodel,thesledtestdesignparametersincertaincondi-tions.Effectingparameters,includesdeflectionangleofsled,plywoodmaterial,movementstyleoftiresandstampinghardeningofma-terialintheenergyabsorbingprocess.Theresultsshow:Havingcorrelationsbetweenaccelerationwaveformandthoseparameters,theoptimizedaccelerationpeakisreducedto10ginsimulatedresult,andtheoptimizedmodelcanreasonablypredictthetrendofaccelera-tionwaveform.Itdecreasesthedifferencesandcostseffectively,TheFEAmodelofthecrashboxisusedtodesignthephysicalparts.
