Theproblemoftheabnormalsoundofthecarbodyclosureseriouslyaffectstheridecomfort.Inordertosolvetheprob-lemofreardoorshakeofaSUVdrivingonthewashboardroad,transferpathanalysismethodwastakeninthispaper.Vehiclevibrationtransmissionpathanalysismodelwasbuiltwiththeoryoftransferpathanalysis.Combiningthemeasureddatawiththesimulationdata,thecontributionofeachtransferpathwasanalyzed.Resultsshowthatlateralthrustrodconnectionpointisthemajortransferpathfordoorshake.Theoptimizationschemeofreducingbushingstiffnessoflateralthrustrodandincreasingthedoorsealingreactionwasadoptedthroughtheresultsoftransferpathcontributionanalysis.Bytestverification,theoptimizationschemecanlowerdoorvibrationby63%,whichsolvestheproblemofdoorshake.
