Automobilechassisdynamicsperformanceisvulnerabletonumerouskindsofuncertaintiestocausethemovementdevia-tionbetweenanactualandanidealmovementtrajectory.Inordertoimprovetherobustnessofvehicledynamicsperformance,anewmodelforvehiclesteering-suspensionisproposed.Inthemodel,aminetruckchassiswithsteeringsystem,brakingsystemandsuspen-sionsystemisbuiltusingADAMS,andsomesimulationdataisintegratedinthesystemtocompleterobustnessforthevehicledynamicsperformance.Thecontrollablevariablesincludethestructureparametersofsteeringmechanismandalignmentparametersofsuspension,andenvironmentnoisesincludeload,drivingforceandsteeringtorque.Optimizationobjectiveiscomposedofthemaximumturningangleerrorforsteeringmechanism,themaximumbrakingsideslipandthemaximumswingingangleforfrontwheelonbumpyroad.Throughtheapproximationmethod,theresponsesurfacemodelsforoptimizationobjectiveshavebeenbuilt.Lastlyacomparisonfortheoptimiza-tionresultsbasedontherobustmodelandatraditionaloptimizationmodelhasbeencarriedout.Theresultsshowthatthestandarddevia-tionsofoptimumobjectiveintherobustmodelaredecreasedatthesamenoisefactorsofload,drivingforce,steeringtorqueandthero-bustnessofdynamicsperformancefortheminingtruckisimproved.
