Duringtheprocessofvehiclesinandoutofthetunnel,thedriver'svisionisaffectedbylightanddarkadaptation.Naturallightintensityoutsidetunnelsisadecisiveinfluenceontheparametersofvisualadaptationandtunnellightingdesign.UsingDIALuxsimulationsoftware,thefeaststypicalnaturallightinsideandoutsidethetunnelentranceandtheilluminationconditionschangewithdistanceofaZhejianghighwaytunnelwereanalyzedinthispaper.Theresultsshowthat:themostdramaticchangeofroadilluminationhappensinthedistanceandoutsidethetunnelentranceroadintherangeof5m;theeffectsofnaturallightilluminationsignificantlyreducedinside10mofthetunnel;andinsidethetunnelafter20m,theeffectsofnaturallightontheholeisweak.Finally,themethodstoimprovetheroadilluminationdifferenceoftunnelentrancewerestudied.
