Whenthehybridcarsdrivinginthecrowdedcity,frequentstartingoftheengineisinevitableandthedrivingperformanceinenginestartingprocessist-hekeyindicatorofthecustomer'sevaluationofthevehicle.Inthispaper,asystematicanalysisoftheenginestartingprocessiscarriedoutforaP2configurationhybridelectricvehicle.Basedontheabovetheoreticalresearch,akindofevaluationmethodisdeveloped,whichcanbeobjectiveandreproducibletoevaluatethedrivingperformanceofvehicleduringtheenginestartingprocess.Basedonthismethod,thetestiscarriedoutonthepowertraintestbed.Thetestresultsshowthatthemethodiscorrect.Itisthekeywaytoevaluatethedrivingperformanceofenginestartingprocess,anditisalsoanimportantbasisfortheselectionoftheenginestartingstrategy.
