TheaimofthisstudyistodevelopamodelthatcorrectlyidentifiesandquantifiestherelationshipbetweendengueandmeteorologicalfactorsinGuangzhou,China.Bycross-correlationanalysis,meteorologicalvariablesandtheirlageffectsweredetermined.AccordingtotheepidemiccharacteristicsofdengueinGuangzhou,thosestatisticallysignificantvariablesweremodeledbyazero-inflatedPoissonregressionmodel.ThenumberofdenguecasesandminimumtemperatureatI-monthlag,alongwithaveragerelativehumidityat0-toI-monthlagwereallpositivelycorrelatedwiththeprevalenceofdenguefever,whereaswindvelocityandtemperatureinthesamemonthalongwithrainfallat2months'lagshowednegativeassociationwithdengueincidence.MinimumtemperatureatI-monthlagandwindvelocityinthesamemonthhadagreaterimpactonthedengueepidemicthanothervariablesinGuangzhou.
