摘要:文章对填土的性质、分类、来源情况、年代、勘探步骤与手段、室内外试验、资料分析、老资料利用、旧建筑调研与注意事项、地基评价、工程实例,特别是对于不同填土的工程性能应用作了较系统的介绍与论述。对从事工程勘察工作的同行有较好的参考价值。

Abstract:Problems concerning the classification, investigation and evaluation of fills are dealt with in this paper. The properties, sources and age of fills, and the investigating means as well as field and laboratory tests are discussed. Matters needing attention while evaluating the fill foundation in view of data analysis and in situ investigation of old buildings are put foward, Analysis of several engineerig cases is also included.It is of valuablc reference to practical engineers.
